Litigation Paralegal
Bernadette Seals supports attorneys who fight for the rights of employees in discrimination and retaliation cases, whistleblower investigations, wage and hour disputes and the negotiation of executive employment agreements and severance packages.
Bernadette received her Bachelors of Business Administration from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and her paralegal certificate from the National Center for Paralegal Training’s ABA-approved program.
Prior to joining Buckley Bala Wilson Mew LLP, she served as a senior litigation/employment paralegal. She has over 25 years of experience working in the litigation departments of two national law firms, where she was involved in employment matters and complex litigation. Her experience includes assisting attorneys from case inception through trial and the appellate process.
Bernadette completed 10 years as a member of the City Schools of Decatur Board of Education, where she served as both vice-chair and chair. She served on the Board of the Georgia Association of Paralegals for several years, where she oversaw its annual salary and experience survey. Her experience also includes chairing the United Way annual fundraising campaign at one of her previous firms for over a decade. She and her husband are empty nesters with two adult children.
